Freeport Outlet – good prices just a few minutes away from Lisbon
With over 75.000m ² Freeport Outlet is only a 5 minute drive after crossing the bridge Vasco da Gama (from Lisbon). The shopping center is all outdoors, in the same style of the famous American outlets. With options to suit all tastes, Freeport Outlet has stores in several areas, such as decoration, furniture, clothing, footwear, perfume, among others. There are some facilities available as a children’s area, a place for family, wheelchairs, car wash and even a convention center. You can see all the services available here.
Before the visit worth checking out the discount section on the website or follow the promotions on their Facebook page. When you get there look for the Information Pyramid to get a map and discount vouchers.
To use the wi-fi you must purchase a voucher, which is also available in the Information Pyramid, but there is free internet in some cafes. They are: Coffe Break (Praça do Coreto), Conversas de Café (Praça Central) and Ponto de Rebuçado (Avenida da Fonte).
Freeport Outlet is a good place to stop when going to Evora, for those who are in Lisbon. The location is on the way to Evora which has the historic center classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. Once in town, you can visit the Roman Temple of Évora, the Cathedral of Évora, the Chapel of Bones, the Museum of Évora and the Forum Eugénio de Almeida.
